Tragic Incident at Ahmedabad Crime Branch: Female Doctor’s Affair with PI Khachar Ends in Suicide

Yesterday, a female doctor accidentally shot herself in the Crime Branch premises in Ahmedabad. She had come to meet an official in the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) regarding financial fraud cases when she suddenly died. Consequently, the Ghatlodia police had to conduct an investigation, during which they retrieved a suicide note from the deceased. It was revealed that there was a romantic relationship between EOW’s PI B.K. Khachar and the female doctor, which led to the tragic incident.

E-Division in-charge ACP Hiten Chaudhari stated that yesterday evening, the dead body of a woman named Vaishali Joshi was found inside the Crime Branch premises. A suicide note and a diary were recovered from the deceased. The diary appears to be of the type used for daily writing. The suicide note mentions, “I am playing an emotional game with the crazy person I am going to meet. B.K. Khachar is responsible for my death. It is my wish that B.K. Khachar performs my last rites after my death.”

Dr. Vaishali committed suicide by injecting herself in the hand. The responsibility for the suicide falls on B.K. Khachar, the Police Inspector of the Economic Offences Wing who was posted in the Crime Branch. B.K. Khachar is currently underground or has disappeared. Many relationships between B.K. Khachar and the deceased are documented in the diary found with the deceased. The family of the deceased girl is seeking forgiveness. The police are investigating the entire matter, and if the family of the girl agrees, the police are also preparing to register a case of murder against the Police Inspector. This matter has been brought to the attention of the city’s top officials for further review.

A controversy has arisen between the two regarding a matter. The suicide note mentions the name of PI B.K. Khachar of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW). We attempted to contact B.K. Khachar, but we have been unable to reach him. It is reported that there has been a love affair between the deceased and PI Khachar for the past four years. The final pages of the deceased’s life seem to have been filled with unresolved issues between them.

It was disclosed that Dr. Vaishali Vinodchandra Joshi (late 32) was a resident of Debhari village in Kheda. She had been serving as a doctor at a private hospital for the last five years. It’s mentioned in the suicide note that due to a strained relationship with PI B.K. Khachar, Dr. Vaishali had been experiencing depression for some time. Local police have registered a case of suicide. Dr. Vaishali’s body is being handed over to her relatives for final rites.

We have been informed about the suicide note regarding the deceased. Action will be taken according to the wishes of the deceased’s family. The deceased used to reside at Shivranjani and was serving duties at a private hospital.

Dr. Vaishali’s body was subjected to a post-mortem examination by the panel of doctors from BJ Medical College’s Forensic Sciences. Subsequently, the family members took her body for the final rites. Information about this was conveyed to the family when they were approached by the media for comments. However, they declined to engage with the media.

In the case of the suicide note found in the EOW investigation of the incident involving Dr. Vaishali Joshi near the EOW gate of the Ahmedabad Crime Branch, PI B.K. Khachar’s name is mentioned. For the past four years, PI B.K. Khachar and the deceased woman had been in contact. Dr. Vaishali Joshi originally resided in Veerapura near Mahisagar district. The deceased woman’s post-mortem is currently underway at the Civil Hospital.

Dr. Vaishali Joshi resided in Satellite area and worked at PGIMER. In the recent case of a woman’s injury at Gayakwad Haveli Crime Branch, a significant revelation has emerged. There has been an open disclosure of a romantic relationship between PI Khachar and the female doctor. Dr. Vaishali Joshi used to reside in Satellite and her father has passed away. She also has a mother and two sisters, one in Vadodara and one in Canada. After the woman’s death, a 15-page suicide note revealed the romantic relationship. The police officers have maintained silence on this matter. The police have seized the suicide note and have initiated an investigation into allegations against PI Khachar.

Dr. Vaishali, who resided in Shivranjani PGIMER, was at the Ahmedabad Crime Branch’s Economic Offenses Wing yesterday. It was during this time that she passed away. Her death in the premises of the Crime Branch caused a stir among the police. Upon learning about this, the Gayakwad Haveli police arrived at the scene.
