Terrorist Attack on Pilgrims’ Bus in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi

In a tragic incident, terrorists attacked a bus carrying pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, resulting in the deaths of 10 people and injuries to several others. This attack occurred in the Kanda area of Reasi district, coinciding with the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister Modi and the new cabinet in New Delhi.

The terrorists opened fire on the bus, injuring the driver and causing him to lose control of the steering wheel, leading the bus to plunge into a gorge. Ten individuals were killed on the spot, and several others sustained gunshot wounds. Rescue operations are underway to save the remaining passengers on the bus.

The bus was transporting pilgrims from Katra to the Shiv Khori temple, which serves as the base camp for the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.

Attack on Air Force Convoy on May 4

On May 4, a terrorist attack on an Air Force convoy in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, resulted in the death of one soldier and injuries to five others. The injured soldiers were airlifted to a hospital in Udhampur, where one of them succumbed to his injuries. Another soldier remains in critical condition.

The attack occurred in the Shahsitar area of Poonch. Terrorists launched a heavy gunfire assault on two security force vehicles, one of which belonged to the Air Force. Both vehicles were headed towards Sannai Top. The bullets fired by the terrorists penetrated the front and side windows of the vehicles.
